Dear Parish Family,
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
The joy of the Christmas season is still fresh among us, and it has been a true gift to celebrate it here as a parish family. That joy was only deepened by the opportunity to accompany our LoboCatholic students to the 2026 SEEK Conference in Denver, where they joined more than 6,000 college students from across the western half of the country in prayer, worship, and formation. These experiences have filled me with gratitude—and with great hope—for what God’s grace is preparing for us in the year ahead.
My time at SEEK was also a time of reflection: on where we have been as a parish over the past six months, and on where the Lord seems to be leading us together. One thing is abundantly clear—we are blessed with remarkable young adults who are hungry for the Lord and eager to serve Him: here in our parish, on campus, and far beyond. Conversations with students, campus leaders, pastors, and FOCUS missionaries from across the nation affirmed the direction we have taken in campus ministry and highlighted how significantly God has been at work among us. Many were surprised by the growth we have already experienced and encouraged us to continue building a vision that includes expanding our missionary presence on campus and increasing student participation in future SEEK conferences.
While this message highlights campus ministry, it is important to remember that this is one expression of the life of our parish, not a separate one. The vitality we see among our students flows directly from the faith, prayer, and generosity of the entire parish community. What God is doing with our college students is a sign of what He is doing among all of us.
There are challenges ahead, including financial ones, but they are not obstacles to grace. They are invitations—opportunities for prayer, encouragement, collaboration, and trust. When we respond together, much can be accomplished if it is in accord with God’s will.
The many graces we have received these past months—on campus and throughout the parish—are truly gifts from God, made fruitful by your cooperation. Thank you for your faithful prayer, your participation in our liturgies and events, your generosity, your volunteering, and your steady love for this parish. Every one of you matters, and every one of you belongs.
I am deeply grateful for you, and I look forward to walking with you in faith, hope, and joy throughout this New Year.
In Christ's abundant love,
Fr. Adrian
